Coming from Stryn and Geiranger, the route will overtake Grotli, a village situated where the Old Strynefjell County Road 258 (Fv258) takes off from National Highway 15 (Riksvei 15) west of Skjåk municipality crossing Billingsdal with high mountains and several rivers before eventually coming to the village center of Bismo.
Geiranger is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, and has been named the best travel destination in Scandinavia by Lonely Planet.
Like the professionals` Tour de France, the route is changed every year but will typically include several UNESCO World Heritage Sites and places popular with tourists such as Geiranger, Nærøyfjorden, Sognefjell, Sognefjord and Aurland.
