George Cruikshank (1792–1878), British caricaturist and illustrator
Their home became a meeting place for writers, artists and reformers - people such as George Cruickshank, William and Mary Howitt, and Ellen Wood.
His work is noted as being less savage than that of his contemporaries, James Gilray and George Cruickshank.
