George Papworth

He also added the portico to Kenure House in Rush in North county Dublin in about 1840; the portico is still standing but the rest of the house was demolished in 1978.

He was later appointed Professor of Architecture by the Royal Hibernian Academy.

He moved to Ireland in 1806 and took charge of the Circular Stone Manufacturers of North Strand, Dublin.

Middleton Park House

Middleton Park House was built c.1850 by George Boyd-Rochfort, who commissioned architect George Papworth to design it and oversee its construction.

Sir Patrick Dun's Hospital

It is a granite faced building that is said to have been influenced by George Papworth.

Whitefriar Street Carmelite Church

The current structure dates from 1825 and was designed by George Papworth, who also designed St. Mary's Pro-Cathedral in Dublin.
