George Rice-Trevor, 4th Baron Dynevor (1795–1869), his son, British peer and politician, also MP for Carmarthenshire
•
George Rice, 3rd Baron Dynevor (1765–1852), British peer and politician; Member of Parliament (MP) for Carmarthenshire
By royal license, 28 October 1824, he took the name of Trevor, after that of Rice, on inheriting the estates of the Trevor family at Glynde, Sussex.
In 1788 Dorrien (as he still was) married Henrietta Cecilia Rice (1758–1829), a daughter of George Rice and Cecil de Cardonnel, 2nd Baroness Dynevor.
Again he sought support from local landowners, including Lord Jersey, Lord Dynevor and the Duke of Beaufort, but again none was forthcoming.
