For the 2nd National Film Awards, in this category, Mirza Ghalib, a biographical Hindi / Urdu film, based on the life of well-known poet Mirza Ghalib, along with a Malayalam film, Neelakuyil won the maximum number of awards (two), with former also winning the President's Gold Medal for the All India Best Feature Film.
Besides devoutly following Amir Khan's style, teaching and demonstrating the style, Amar Nath also served at All India Radio for eight years, and later as Director of Kala Sangam in Delhi, and also provided music for the 1955 film Garam Coat and for a documentary on Mirza Ghalib.
The Ghalib tomb is located adjoining this structure on the northern side.

After the murder of their father Mohammed ash-Sheikh in 1557 and the following struggle for power, the two brothers Ahmad al-Mansur and Abd al-Malik had to flee their elder brother Abdallah al-Ghalib (1557–1574), leave Morocco and stay abroad until 1576.
The Urdu poets of Tonk preferred the style and mannerism of Momin to that of Ghalib.

In the 1990s Ghalib established and hosted Free Afghanistan Broadcasting, a multi-featured community TV show in New York, and served as the Executive Producer for the subsequent three years, during which he earned a certificate in Production and Editing from the Queens Public Television QPTV.
