Dody went on to develop her other artistic skills as a drama and poetry major at Sophie Newcomb College of Tulane University in New Orleans in 1940.
Jewish sororities used the Hillel foundation to get lists of names of Jewish first year students.
Her work is associated with the Newcomb College pottery school, where she was trained and taught until her retirement in 1952.
