By at least 1906, the British Bible Society (now printing in Reykjavík) put out a new New Testament translation based on the original texts, by Haraldur Níelsson, and by 1908 released the entire Bible.
Heiðar and Haraldur are also band members of 'Hafnarfjarðarmafían' ('The Hafnarfjörður Mob'), a support band of the Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar football team and Pollapönk.
Haraldur Freyr Guðmundsson (born 14 December 1981 in Keflavík) is an Icelandic professional football defender who plays for Keflavík in Iceland.
His mother, Þuríður, was a direct descendant of Þóra Magnúsdóttir daughter of Magnus III of Norway a direct descendant of Harald Fairhair (Haraldur hárfagri) founder of the Fairhair dynasty the first royal dynasty of the united Norway, and a branch of the Ynglings (also see Ynglinga saga).
