The soundtrack includes the following tracks, composed by Madan Mohan, with lyrics by Kaifi Azmi, and is especially remembered for the poignant Ye Duniya Yeh Mehfil Mere Kaam Ki Nahin, sung by Mohd. Rafi.
Later Indian versions include the Hindi films Heer Raanjha (1971) directed by Chetan Anand and starring Raaj Kumar and Priya Rajvansh, Heer Ranjha (1992), and the Punjabi film Heer Ranjha (2009) starring singer & actor Harbhajan Mann.
Her next film, Heer Raanjha came out only in 1970, where she acted opposite the rage of that time, actor Raaj Kumar, and the film was a hit.
