A member of the country's governing People's Action Party (PAP), he has served in the Cabinet as the Minister for Education since May 2011.
In November, the school organised a Home-Coming dinner to wrap up it's 30th anniversary, where Mr Heng Swee Keat, the Minister of Education was invited as the Guest-Of-Honour.
