Herbert de Losinga

Losinga was born in born Exmes, near Argentan, Normandy, the son of Robert de Losinga (who later became Abbot of New Minster, Winchester).

Hoxne Priory

The chapel was given in 1101 to Norwich Cathedral by Herbert de Losinga, and the priory became dependent on the cathedral.
