In the mid-2000s, he toured with World Classic Rockers, and most recently sang on a version of the Scorpions classic song "Is There Anybody There" on former Scorpions drummer Herman Rarebell's solo album Acoustic Fever in 2013.
Later on, he co-created Monaco Records with Prince Albert of Monaco .

In 2012, Francis Buchholz toured with former Scorpions lead guitarist Michael Schenker for the European dates of his Temple of Rock Tour alongside former Scorpions drummer Herman Rarebell, with Ex-Rainbow vocalist Doogie White and MSG's Wayne Findley on guitars and keys.
He also shares the authorship of some lyrics with Herman Rarebell (former drummer of Scorpions) on some songs like the major hit "Rock You Like a Hurricane", among others.
