Laura Codruţa Kövesi (born Laura Codruţa Lascu on May 15, 1973) is the current Prosecutor-General of Romania (Procuror General), the head of the Public Ministry and General Prosecutor's Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice (Parchetul General de pe lângă Înalta Curte de Casaţie şi Justiţie).
