The show was mostly recorded at ANT1 studios in Athens, but the characters visited many areas inside and outside the city such as Arachova, Patmos and Hydra.
The Dokos shipwreck (circa 2250-2050 BC) was discovered near Hydra Island, Greece, in 1975 by Peter Throckmorton who found cargo from an obviously sunken ship at 20 meters depth.
