Agility Trains is consortium of Hitachi, John Laing, and Barclays Private Equity which has been awarded a contract to design, manufacture, and maintain a fleet of long-distance trains to replace Britain's InterCity 125 fleet as part of the Department for Transport's Intercity Express Programme.
Now known as Penzance TMD, it is a refuelling and servicing depot for diesel locomotives and HST sets.
Owned by Network Rail under depot code PM, it is leased to train operator First Great Western, and has been used since their introduction for the maintenance of InterCity 125 trains operating between London Paddington, Bristol and South Wales.

The original Mk3 coaches delivered as part of HST sets for Western Region (Class 253) contained Trailer First (TF), Trailer Second (TS), and Trailer Buffet Second (TRSB) variants in formation TF-TF-TRUK-TS-TRSB-TS-TS.
