Aldo continued racing on the USAC and IMCA circuits, but in 1969 Aldo suffered severe damage to his face after crashing into a fence, and quit racing.
The IMCA championships are held annually at the IMCA Supernationals at Boone Speedway in Boone, Iowa.
Plant Field was also a venue for dirt-track races sanctioned by the International Motor Contest Association until the mid-1970s

The company was founded in 1958, and has since provided tires for use in series sanctioned by IHRA, ARCA, CRA, NASCAR, IMCA, WISSOTA, SCCA, AIS, and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
