Gregory T. Baldwin, born March 23, 1976 in Hollywood, California, is a United States Air Force Officer and former video game developer, best known for his work with Electronic Arts' Westwood Studios and Interplay Entertainment.
After some freelance work for Interplay (Rags to Riches: The Financial Market Simulation and Castles II: Siege and Conquest) he was hired as art director, lead artist and designer/writer.
Star Trek: New Worlds is a strategy game published in 2000 by Interplay in which the player can choose to command the forces of the United Federation of Planets, Klingons or Romulans.
As a result of strong sales of Star Trek: Starfleet Command, Interplay Entertainment announced that their division of 14 Degrees East would license out a multi-game contract to the newly created game developer, Taldren Inc., run by Erik Bethke the lead designer of the series.
He worked at Interplay Productions, Maxis, and Spectrum Holobyte, doing game design, playtesting, and writing manuals for such computer games as Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, SimCity 2000, and Flight of the Intruder to name but a few.
