D-Boys (stylized as "D-BOYS") is a young male actors group under the management of Watanabe Entertainment.
She is represented by Biscuit Entertainment, and is a second generation member of the Japanese idol group Idoling!!!.
In September 2008, it was announced that Kumai was leaving the D-BOYS, although he was still being represented by Watanabe Entertainment.

In July 2006 Makita took part in Watanabe Entertainment's 3rd D-BOYS open audition, winning the second place, after Grand Prix winner Tomo Yanagishita, as well as De-View Magazine's Oricon Entertainment award.
In 2006, Tomo won the Watanabe Entertainment´s 3rd official D-BOYS audition with the Grand Prix and became an official member of the group.
