Prior to having his own material published, O'Malley illustrated the Oni Press miniseries Hopeless Savages: Ground Zero, written by Jen Van Meter.

Jen Van Meter

Van Meter diverged from the Ph.D. track and began pursuing a career in comics, her first published work was a story in the 1998 Dark Horse Presents annual that saw the first appearance of Buffy the Vampire Slayer in comic book form.

Van Meter's work at Oni led to other series at DC, including the mini-series Cinnamon: El Ciclo and Black Lightning: Year One, and at Marvel, where she recently wrote a mini-series featuring Black Cat.

Pat Olliffe

At DC Comics, he worked on a three-issue arc of JSA Classified with Jen Van Meter, was part of the artist rotation for 52, and worked on on 52 Aftermath: The Four Horsemen with Keith Giffen.


Jesse Chambers

Written by Jen Van Meter and drawn by Travis Moore, the series was an action/romance feature which chronicled the adventures of Jesse and her husband Rick as they battled the villainous couple of Tigress and Icicle.
