Although primarily a radio commentator, Waddle appeared on television as co-host (with Jeremy Coney) of The Dilmah Tea Party, a 15 minute celebrity interview conducted on-field during the tea interval of Test matches played in New Zealand.
Coney is trained as a stage lighting designer; in 2008 he lit I Found My Horn, a solo play which has enjoyed runs at the Tristan Bates and the Hampstead theatres.
