Digital Innovations was founded by Joe Born and Collin Anderson in 1995 in Chicago, Illinois and achieved initial success by selling CD and DVD scratch repair devices.
In 1995, after receiving a patent for a CD repair device, later named the SkipDoctor, Joe Born founded Digital Innovations, LLC.
Founded by Joe Born in 2001 as a division of Digital Innovations and previously operated under the name Neuros Audio.
First brought to market in December of 1998, the SkipDR was originally invented by Joe Born in 1992 while still in College at the University of Texas.
