John Crosby Brown

John Crosby Brown (1838 – June 25, 1909) was a partner in the investment bank Brown Bros. & Co., which was founded by his father James Brown and his uncles, the sons of Alexander Brown of Baltimore.

William Adams Delano

He was the nephew of John Crosby Brown, who headed the Brown Brothers & Company banking/trading group, and his father Eugene Delano (1843 – 1920), an 1866 graduate of Williams College, was a partner in the firm.
