John Henrik Gretton, 3rd Baron Gretton DL (9 February 1941 - 4 April 1989) was an English peer, owner of Stapleford Park in Leicestershire.

They had two children; Sarah Margaret Gretton (born 1971) and John Lysander Gretton, who would later succeed his father as 4th Baron.
The House of Lords Act 1999 removed the right of hereditary peers to sit in the House of Lords; so far Baron Gretton has not been one of the peers elected to be excepted from this either in the initial elections or any subsequent by elections.
After starting Fawley Hill Railway, McAlpine purchased GWR 4073 Class 4079 Pendennis Castle in partnership with John Gretton, which was subsequently housed at Market Overton in Rutland.
