During the 2010 offseason, Tafralis worked as a trainer for John Paye at Paye's Sports Performance in San Carlos, CA.
After leaving football, Paye returned to Menlo as the girls' basketball coach, coaching his sister Kate.
Her father was a running back for Stanford's football team while her brother John was a quarterback for the team in the mid-1980s, and later was her basketball coach at Menlo School.
