When Josh was in High School he played with Vesta band mate Joshua Kosker in a band called Noisome.

He formed The Juliana Theory in 1997 along with Chad Alan, Brett Detar, Neil Hebrank (also in Fiedler's original band Noisome), and Jeremiah Momper.
As of late 2008 Joshua has joined his former band mates Joshua Fiedler and Chad Alan Monticue taking over lead vocal duties for the band Vesta.
