The building acts as a buffer zone between the Jussieu Campus of Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris VI), built in large rationalist urban blocks, and the Seine.
Claire Voisin (born 4 March 1962) is a French professor of mathematics and was director of research at the Institut de mathématiques de Jussieu at the University of Paris VI: Pierre et Marie Curie for several years.
