In 2004, he became the European brand director for K2 Sports.
Robin E. Hernreich (born 1945) is a former director of K2 Sports, an owner of the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association and the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League.
He was also known for his contributions to ski design, notably being the father of reverse sidecut and reverse camber skis (aka: skis with rocker); first mounting bindings onto water skis for use in Alaska, then with the Volant Spatula and, more recently, the K2 Pontoon ski design.
