Har Karan Kamboh was a great scholar and had deep knowledge of Arabic and Persian languages.
Hasan Mahmudi (or Mahdi) Kamboh was an ancestor of the Kamboh Nawabs od Meerut.

To perpetuate their memory, Husan Mahmudi erected Jama Masjid in 1019 AD, adjacent to where his Kamboh soldiers fell fighting during attack on Meerut.

Shaikh Inayat-Allah Kamboh was elder brother and teacher of Muhammad Saleh Kamboh Salafi, the famous historian of Shah Jahan's court and teacher of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
