Dejan Jakovic

Dejan Jakovic Dejan Jaković; born 16 July 1985 in Karlovac) is a Canadian international soccer player who currently plays for Shimizu S-Pulse in J. League Division 1.

Born in Karlovac, Croatia prior to the break-up of the former Yugoslavia, Jakovic was brought by his parents to Canada at the age of six following the outbreak of the Croatian War of Independence in Croatia in 1991.

Desiderius Hampel

After he completed his primary school education, he was sent to a military school in Karlovac.

Laval Nugent von Westmeath
