The Museum operates an active Educational Programme which provides for curriculum-based visits to serve multi-subject Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 of the National Curriculum (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) using World War I, World War II, and Victorian era resources.
In the years following the programme a number of educational items were released in the UK including a CD-ROM entitled Magic Grandad's Seaside Holidays designed for Key Stage 1 pupils to learns about history in the same way the TV show taught them.
Mobile Revision is a CD-ROM containing short revision video and audio clips (MP4, MP3 and 3GP) that cover each topic of the Key Stage 3 Science UK curriculum for school children aged 11 – 14 and allows all users to download, watch or listen on their own personal mobile devices including mobile phone, DAP and PC or an interactive whiteboard.
This school is one of the feeder schools of the Upper Rhondda and 95% of its children are enrolled into Treorchy Comprehensive School once they finish Key Stage 2.
