Komárom a city in Hungary, and the site of an old strategic fortress often referred to as Comorn in old sources.
Gyula Krajczár (1953–1998) was a Hungarian politician, who served as mayor of Komárom between 1990 and 1998.
He died shortly thereafter, probably of his wounds, in Komárom.
Two railway lines were planned, extending from Vienna to the south and east: one to Wiener Neustadt and Gloggnitz, and one via Bruck an der Leitha to Győr (German: Raab), with an extension to Uj-Szöny (now a suburb of Komárom) and a branch line to Pozsony (now Bratislava).

On the way to Komárom, they stop at an island, the "no man's island", which lies in the Danube between the Ottoman Empire and the Hungarian part of the Habsburg Empire, undiscovered and unclaimed by both.
