Lady Bay is an area of West Bridgford, in Nottinghamshire, England, bounded by the River Trent to the north and the (now disused) Grantham Canal to the south.
Ronald Stamper (born 1934 in West Bridgford, United Kingdom) is a British computer scientist, formerly a researcher in the LSE and Professor at the University of Twente, known for his pioneering work in Organisational semiotics, and the creation of the MEASUR methodology and the SEDITA framework.
Later in the series, production moved to Nottingham and much location filming took place in and around West Bridgford, a suburb just south of Nottingham, Keyworth (a large village, 7 miles south of Nottingham) and various other Nottinghamshire towns.
