Brunswick brickworks

In 1887 the company had ordered Bradley & Craven automatic brick presses, which were fabricated by Langlands foundry and a year later purchased another at the centennial exhibition.

Hawthorn Bridge

The pioneer Melbourne foundry of Langlands and Co. then purchased the salvaged bridge materials for ₤2,000, and spent several hundred pounds in repairing or modifying bridge sections.

Langlands foundry

Langlands Foundry was an incubator for a number of engineers including Herbert Austin (1866–1941) who worked as a fitter at Langlands, and went on to both work on the Wolesely Shearing machine and to found the Austin Motor Company.

The company's products including stamper batteries and ore crushing mills, which could found distributed over Australasia from Charters Towers to the Thames goldfields of New Zealand.
