The Bletonesii were one of the pre-Roman Celtic peoples of the Iberian Peninsula (the Roman Hispania, modern Spain and Portugal), dwelling around the city of Bletisa, or modern Ledesma in the province of Salamanca (Spain).
Early in 1161, Ferdinand, prompted by fear that Afonso I of Portugal was planning an invasion, bestowed the tenencias (tenancies-in-chief) of Ciudad Rodrigo and Ledesma on Ponce, who in turn gave the latter to his son Fernando.

Carmen Camacho (born 1939, Catanduanes, Luzon, Philippines) in is one of Philippine Kundiman Diva of the 60s along with Norma Ledesma, Norma Balagtas, and Pilita Corrales among others.
Ledesma suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury at the start of the Apertura, delaying his first team debut and in January 2009 he returned to Olimpia.
He started his studies in solfeggio, piano and choir at the Madrid Royal Conservatory with Carmen Ledesma at the department of Professor Joaquín Soriano.
His younger brother Pedro Ledesma recently signed with the French club Stade Français.
Ledesma also scored a clever close-range flick against Colombia's Cúcuta in the Semi Final 1st leg and a brave header at the end of the 1st Leg of the Final against Gremio.
She was betrothed to Fernando Alfonso de Castilla y Guzmán, lord of Ledesma and illegitimate son of Alfonso XI of Castile, and later married Alvar Pérez de Castro, Count of Arraiolos and son of Pedro Fernández de Castro the Warrior, Lord of the House of Castro.
