Ablaberdyeva has made several recordings including Stravinsky's Les Noces, several cantatas by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi and Antonio Vivaldi, art songs by various Russian composers, and numerous works by J.S. Bach, Henry Purcell & George Frideric Handel, mostly on the Melodiya label.
He remained there until 2001, during which time he directed the choir in Benjamin Britten's War Requiem, Bach's Mass in B Minor and St. John Passion, Igor Stravinsky's Les Noces, Sergei Rachmaninoff's Vespers, Johannes Brahms's Liebeslieder Walzer, and Giuseppe Verdi's Requiem.
In 2003 the Choral Society performed two versions of The Seven Last Words of Christ, by Haydn and by Dubois, Stravinsky's Les Noces and Handel's Israel in Egypt.
It may also be observed in Igor Stravinsky's Russian period, such as in Les Noces, derived from his use of folk melodies as generating material and influenced by shorter pieces by Claude Debussy, such as Voiles, and Modest Mussorgsky.
