Lucia got her start recording in studios in New York, eventually forming her own band, Drill, along with future Black Label Society guitarist John DeServio, which released one self-titled album, spawning two music videos and getting a third song featured in the movie Empire Records.

One single off the album, "I Will", appeared on the American Pie 2 soundtrack.
The band, with Lucia Cifarelli (formerly of the band Drill), took on a more futuristic sound, which also contained hints of trance and europop, primarily in the style of production, leaning towards what is now commonly referred to as 'electronica'.

Members Raymond Watts (vocals, programming, guitar) and Hisashi Imai (Buck-Tick; guitar and noise), both having worked together in Schaft, were joined by Atsushi Sakurai (Buck-Tick; vocals), Sascha Konietzko (KMFDM; vocals and programming) and Lucia Cifarelli (KMFDM; vocals).
The regular line-up of Sascha Konietzko, Lucia Cifarelli, Jules Hodgson, Andy Selway, and Steve White was joined by a handful of musicians from other industrial and alternative metal acts.
