Medina worked with Luis Vigoreaux in the 1983 theater production, "La Verdadera Historia de Pedro Navaja".

After three years performing with such producers as Luis Vigoreaux, Tommy Muniz and Paquito Cordero, the group disbanded but three of its members went on as soloists: singer and later photographer, Jose Manuel, the well-known Puerto Rican female vocalist Ednita Nazario, and Sabath himself.
He also participated in the play "La Pareja Dispareja" (The Odd Couple) alongside Luis Vigoreaux and Rafo Muñiz.
There was also a musical, La verdadera historia de Pedro Navaja, based on the Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht's play The Threepenny Opera, staged in Lima, Peru, starring, among others, Camila Mac Lennan, and in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where Luis Vigoreaux played the title character.
