Ivan Doseff

He served as the head football coach at Kalamazoo College in 1910, at Iowa State Normal School—now the University of Northern Iowa—from 1919 to 1920, and at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa from 1921 to 1922, compiling a career college football record of 12–19–3.

Jacob Walter Erb

He was born near Lang, Saskatchewan, the son of Ferdinand Erb and Rosa Wagner, and was educated at Luther College in Regina, at the University of Manitoba and the Chicago Conservatory of Music.

Realf Ottesen Brandt

His father, Nils Olsen Brandt (1824-1921), who had been born Slidre, Valdres, Norway, served as President of Luther College.
