Nerdcore For Life explores the world of “geek rap” known as Nerdcore hip-hop and features appearances by many of the top names in the genre including Optimus Rhyme, MC Lars, Beefy, mc chris, MC Router and Ytcracker.

Nick Lavallee

Active in stand-up since 2009, Lavallee has released four albums, numerous web videos, and has performed with Bo Burnham, Bob Marley (comedian), MC Lars, and Sally Struthers.


Bonus track

A song by MC Lars featuring Ashley Jade entitled "The Bonus Track for Japan" pokes fun at the Japan-specific instance of this phenomenon, with Lars singing a series of facts about Japan.

It also released the 50minutes compilation album in late 2006, featuring 50 one-minute tracks from 50 artists, including Daniel Johnston, Youthmovies, and MC Lars amongst others, with proceeds going to the Medical Foundation.

The band has performed over 1000 shows throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, and the United Kingdom, touring with bands such as Andrew W.K., Japanther, Wheatus, MC Frontalot, mc chris, MC Lars,and Peelander-Z.

Schäffer the Darklord

Schaffer has performed and collaborated with many of Nerdcore's biggest names such as MC Frontalot, MC Lars, mc chris, and many others around the country.

Team Goldie

He began performing live in the Fall of 2004 and over the following years went on to open for the likes of Gym Class Heroes, MC Lars, Girl Talk, Plain White Ts, Ted Leo, Boys Like Girls and many more as well as perform at the Broadcast Music Incorporated (BMI) Showcase and Angels & Kings as a part of the CMJ Music Marathon.
