Hutchings' new band Steeleye Span was formed by putting together two established folk duos Tim Hart and Maddy Prior with Terry and Gay Woods.
Involved with folk and political songs from the 1950s, she has performed and/or recorded with Blowzabella, The Orckestra (with Henry Cow and the Mike Westbrook Brass Band), Ken Hyder's Talisker, John Kirkpatrick, Brian Pearson, Leon Rosselson, Dave Van Ronk and Maddy Prior.
Lingwood has played with many musicians over the years, including Roger Chapman (still doing occasional gigs), Maddy Prior and Elkie Brooks.
Other recent projects of note include Jennifer Cutting's Ocean (2003) album featuring Maddy Prior and Gabriel Yacoub and Well Kept Secrets (2003) with fiddler Rosie Shipley.
After Donovan's first UK tour MacLeod teamed up first with Dana Gillespie then with another regular on the St Albans music scene, Maddy Prior, to form Mac & Maddy.
Several recorded versions are arranged in a more folk-oriented style: for example, a performance by Maddy Prior and The Carnival Band on their 1987 album A Tapestry of Carols, which utilises period instruments.
He was the husband of Steeleye Span lead vocalist Maddy Prior, but they have since divorced.

The most peculiar decision was the choice to include an unrehearsed version of "Camptown Racetrack"; Years later Maddy Prior remarked about this decision, "I can't think what we were thinking of with that." This was the band's 9th album in 5 years, and many feel that their exhaustion is evident.
