Euryale ferox

Euryale ferox (also known as fox nut, foxnut, 'thangjing' in Meeteilon i.e. Manipuri, makhana, nikori (in Assamese),Onibas (Onibasu) in Japanese or gorgon plant) is the only species in the genus Euryale.
