Marco Antonio Solís and the members of the popular musical group Los Bukis, later changed to Los Mismos after Marco Antonio left the group were born in the municipality of Ario.
The venue reopened in September 2010 with a three-month long celebration, featuring concerts by: Vicente Fernández, Alejandra Guzmán, Chayanne, Marco Antonio Solís and Miguel Bosé.
While Los Bukis continued performing and releasing new music, Marco Antonio Solís also wrote and produced albums for Marisela, Rocío Dúrcal, and María Sorté.
