Arena di Verona Festival

In 1976, Maurice Béjart brought the "Ballet du XXe Siècle" from the La Monnaie opera house in Brussels and choreographed Beethoven's 9th symphony.

Gaston Berger University

The University was named in honor of French-Senegalese philosopher Gaston Berger, who was born in Saint-Louis and was the father of Maurice Béjart.

Giorgio Madia

From 1985 to 1988, Madia was engaged by Maurice Béjart to join his company Ballet du XXe siècle in Brussels, and since 1987 as soloist also with the Béjart Ballet Lausanne, where the company had moved.

Jacopo Godani

He has also pursued studies at the Fine Arts High School of Carrara and was accepted to further his studies at Maurice Béjart's international dance centre, Mudra in Bruxelles, Belgium.
