The highest scoring red in 2007 was Nugan Estate 2005 McLaren Parish Shiraz from McLaren Vale, South Australia; and the highest scoring white was Cathedral Cellar 2005 Chardonnay from Paarl, South Africa.
The college also hosts the McLaren Vale Community Christmas Carols each year, with the choirs from the college and other schools, a guest artist and invites musicians from all over the Fleurieu Peninsula to form an orchestra for the event.
There is some evidence of railway track remaining on this trail, notably near the South Road crossing at Hackham, the top of the Seaford Hill and a small section of track in a paddock adjacent to Victor Harbor Road, McLaren Vale.
