Winter exhibited his paintings and won prizes at the National Academy, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and the Salmagundi Club, and during his lifetime he also exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., the Currier Gallery of Art in Manchester, New Hampshire, and the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, New York.

Cooper and his wife exhibited together in several two-person shows, including a May 1902 exhibit at the Philadelphia Art Club and a 1915 show at the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester.
Some of her paintings are included in several permanent collections at the Allentown Art Museum, Rochester Memorial Art Gallery, Ogontz Junior College (Penn State Abington) and the University of Pennsylvania.
Eileen Butts was added to the state list of prominent Floridians for her work in the area including the creation of Tomoka State Park, the building of the Ormond Memorial Art Gallery and the preservation of John D. Rockefeller's Ormond Beach home The Casements.
