The Group A tournament took place between 30 March and 5 April 2008 in Meribel and Courchevel, France and the Group B tournament was played from 23 to 29 March 2008 in Tallinn, Estonia.
In 2008 he and fellow comedian Marcus Brigstocke founded the Altitude Festival, a comedy/music festival in Meribel, The French Alps.
The Battle of Méribel took place at Méribel, above Sallanches, Haute-Savoie, France, on 13 September 1793, when the forces of the Duchy of Savoy were defeated by the French Army.
In the same year Rob and James played a wide variety of venues and nights from comedy clubs to music gigs as well as festivals including Bestival, Latitude, Hop Farm Festival (in both 2010 and 2011) and Altitude festival in Meribel.
