The office of the software company featured in the film is an actual company office in Merrion Square in Dublin.

Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies

The Institute was initially located at 64 and 65 Merrion Square and had two schools - the School of Theoretical Physics and the School of Celtic Studies - to which the School of Cosmic Physics was added in 1947.

The poet W. B. Yeats lived at No 82, and Daniel O'Connell at No 58, now home to the Keough-Naughton Center of the University of Notre Dame.

Now managed by Dublin City Council, the park contains a statue of Oscar Wilde, who resided in No. 1, Merrion Square from 1855 to 1876, many other sculptures and a collection of old Dublin lamp standards.

The square was leased to the Archdiocese of Dublin by the Pembroke Estate in 1930 to permit the building of a cathedral on the site to replace to the pro-Cathedral.

Sir William Napier, 3rd Baronet

He succeeded to the Baronetage of Merrion Square in 1884 on the death of Sir Joseph Napier, 2nd Baronet (1841–1884), and was succeeded by Sir Joseph William Lennox Napier, 4th Baronet (1895–1986).

Lt Col Sir William Lennox Napier, 3rd Baronet of Merrion Square, (12 October 1867 – 13 August 1915), was a British baronet and soldier.
