On November 29, 1997 she lost against Michele Aboro in six rounds, who remained unbeaten with 6 wins, but had won all previous fights by knockout.
Aboro was the WIBF world Super Bantamweight champion from her victory over Eva Jones Young on 5 February 2000, to her retirement following the successful defence against Nadia Debras on 24 November 2001.
