He was also seen playing the part of a blatantly biased referee in the American Wrestling Association during its last year, most famously in a match between The Trooper and Mike Enos.

In 1990, while still AWA Tag Team Champions, Enos and Bloom were loaned out to World Championship Wrestling.

Perhaps Enos’ biggest claim to fame in WCW was being in the ring wrestling against Steve Doll on the May 27, 1996 episode of WCW Monday Nitro when Scott Hall made his WCW debut, planting the seeds for the New World Order.
