White was increasingly dissatisfied with 20th Century's management when Russ Regan left the label to form Millennium Records and felt that he was being ignored in terms of promotion at the time.
Millennium Records was started by longtime record executive Russ Regan based at offices on West 57th Street New York in 1977.
