Hatcher hails from Nashville, Tennessee and attended Montgomery Bell Academy, famous as the source for the blockbuster film Dead Poets Society.
He became the associate dean at Montgomery Bell Academy for 11th and 12th grades, and assisted with the school's football program.
It is the successor to two well-known schools, the Western Military Institute, which Sam Davis, the "Boy Hero of the Confederacy", attended, and the former University of Nashville.
